  • Sally Kern’s controversial remarks hit a another nerve

    sally-kern-oklahoma-thumb-400xauto-18449

Sally Kern(GOP) has attacked the homosexual population, the women and now she is onto the people of color. At this very moment she is batting 100 with making remarks that spark controversy and put her home state of Oklahoma on the map. In her latest remarks she lends her expert advice about why black people are paid less and don’t succeed.

“We have a high percentage of blacks in prison, and that’s tragic, but are they in prison just because they are black or because they don’t want to study as hard in school? I’ve taught school, and I saw a lot of people of color who didn’t study hard because they said the government would take care of them.”

Sally’s extremist viewpoints are not new. She recently said:

    ON HOMOSEXUALS

“Not everybodys lifestyle is equal, just like not all religions are equal, gays are an even bigger threat than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat.”

“City councils from Pittsburgh to West Palm Beach, FL are under the control of gays.”

“Homosexuals are pushing a gay agenda and trying to indoctrinate children as young as 2-years-old through tolerance education and gay-straight alliances. This stuffits deadly, and its spreading, and it will destroy our young people. It will destroy this nation.”

“Here in America we’ve had what maybe three known real big terrorist attacks on our nation. But every day our young people especially, all of us, but our young people especially are in a sense bombarded with the message that homosexuality is normal and natural.”

“For the first time in America’s history, we have a president who has no understanding of the Biblical worldview and who has even less understanding of the truths of the Bible. This is evident when he says that support for homosexual marriage can be found in the Sermon on the Mount or that certain passages in Romans are just obscure passages. Whereas George Washington expelled from his military those who practiced sodomy, President Obama honors sodomites by proclaiming an entire month as Gay Pride Month, but he wont acknowledge one day for our National Day of Prayer.”

“There is a group of homosexual millionaires who for years have been working secretly to change the society of America, the political society of, America, so there will be freedom and equality for everyone.

“While terrorism has killed more than 3,000 people, in the continental United States in the last 15 years, homosexual behavior has killed more than 100,000. It’s a danger to life. It is a danger to health.”

    ON RELIGION

“I am not saying everyone has to be Christian; this is not a homogenous nation. What you have to be is someone who believes in a Judeo-Christian ethic, in other words, in knowing there’s a right and wrong.”

“Evolution undermines Christian principles. Period. That’s all there is to it. You either believe there is a creator or you believe there isn’t. Some people say well I believe there is a creator and he used evolution. There’s a lot of problems there folks. When does sin come in, when does the spirit come in? You know, it’s evolution. You read God’s word and you will see the word creation all through it, old and new testament. And it undermines people’s faith. They have trouble reading or believing the Bible.”

    ON IMMIGRATION

“I don’t have a problem with people coming over here. Why wouldn’t people want to come to America, the greatest nation in the world where you have the most opportunities and freedoms? Why wouldn’t they want to come over here? But if they’re going to come over here, let them become Americans. If they want to hold on to their own cultures, then why? And I hope I don’t get in trouble here… Why not live in their own countries?”

  • Lil B says his new album will be titled “I’m Gay”

    lil-b-isaac-brekkan-getty-images

Lil B made a major announcement at Coachella 2011 and had more than a few people wagging their tongues. Lil B’s new album is to be called….wait for it….I’m gay. What does GLAAD think about this new announcement. The activist group commented, “As a lyricist, Lil B knows that words matter. Slurs have the power to fuel intolerance. We hope that Lil B’s album title is not just a gimmick, and is really a sincere attempt to be an ally. He has the platform and the voice. We hope he uses it in a positive way.” We at The Rainbow Collective hopes that Lil B knows what he is doing and that he is not going to release an album that will continue to promote intolerance. We hope that their is wisdom behind it.

However, we are not too sure. From Lil B’s look Like Jesus track, the first verse says,
“H*es on my d*ck cause I look like jesus
Young based god coming straight with the heater
**ggas getting mad cause I dress like jesus christ
I’m that pretty bitch imma f*ck her all night”

After the first verse, I must utilize a popular shorthand text message: SMH.

  • Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Proclaim “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls”

    ashton

Ashton and Demi have a groundbreaking and much needed campaign to address the worldwide epidemic of child slavery and the prostitution of underage girls with the major goal of eliminating child sex slavery and human trafficking. The campaign’s message is simple, “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls”. We will also like to add, “Real Men Don’t Buy Boys”. We might as well keep things fair.

With major celebrities stepping up the the plate (Russell Simmons, Justin Timberlake, Sean Penn, Bradley Cooper and Jaime Foxx) hopefully this message will begin to spread far and wide. such as J among others) to help further their cause. Their mission is simple: Freedom is a basic human right and slavery is one of the greatest threats to that freedom. No one has the right to enslave another person-the right to be free is a building block of our DNA.
