MR Show Season 4 With the hilarious play, When Joey Married Bobby
MAURICE RUNEA THE SHOW KICK OFF
With witty dialogue and tons of laughs, Maurice Runea The Show kicks off just where it left off- with a belly full of laughter.
Romeo and Maurice go behind the scenes to talk to the actors of When Joey Married Bobby, the hilarious play by playwrights, John William Gibson and Anthony Wyatt ( William Wyatt) who crafted a story full of laughs, life and family.

The GLAAD Award winners tell the story of Sarah Edwards, an ultra conservative socialite planning the wedding of her son Joey Edwards. When Joey’s big day stands in the way of her winning “Christian of the Year”, Sarah tops at nothing to reclaim her name. With homeless men and gay men showing up at her door step, her easy going life becomes more complicated forcing Sarah to make some of the most outrageous decisions one has ever seen. The legendary Lady Bunny co-stars in the play as Charity Divine, best friend and wife of a Baptist minister.
There is definitely no room to breathe when the one liners come at a mile a minute. Each character covets their role giving an outstanding performance from beginning to the end. While the fun never stops, William Wyatt is certain to ensure that the audience remains grounded with topics like homelessness, HV/AIDS, family secrets, religion and politics. There is something for everyone whether you are on Team Red or Team Blue. Ultimately, When Joey Married Bobby is the story of family.
